Our Story
Breakthrough Worship Centre was founded in 2004 by the Pastor Falelima Makeripa Malau’ulu. The vision for this ministry began a few years earlier, while he was seeking God at the Prayer house Meroo. During that time of prayer and fasting, the Lord spoke clearly to him: “Go to Liverpool and start a church there you, your wife, and your children.” with scripture Isaiah 41v10,
“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
Pastor Lipa received many confirmations from other pastors, and as the call of God grew stronger in his spirit, he obeyed. Before stepping out, he was serving and established Mt Druitt Worship Centre and later left for the call With God’s blessing, Pastor Lipa and his family then moved forward in faith and planted Breakthrough Worship Centre in Orange Grove Community Centre, right in the heart of Liverpool 2004.
For 20 years, the ministry has faithfully served the community and witnessed God’s hand at work. In January 2024, Pastor Lipa was called home to be with the Lord. Later that same year, his son Benjamin Malau’ulu was anointed and appointed as the Senior Pastor of Breakthrough Worship Centre in the month of September.
Today, the church continues to experience revival, breakthrough, and the move of the Holy Spirit. We believe we are living in the greatest time to see the greatest harvest of souls the world has ever known. Our vision is clear: to see this generation saved, transformed, and set on fire by the power of the Holy Ghost
